Herkenbosch

Herkenbosch (Limburgic: Hirkebosj) is a picturesque church village with over 4,000 residents located on the meandering edge of the Rur Valley.

Surrounded by glorious natural beauty, Herkenbosch offers endless recreational opportunities. There are several marked routes for you to discover on foot, by bike or by horse. The area is also home to De Meinweg National Park, part of the Dutch-German Borderland Park Maas-Swalm-Nette. Another favourite attraction in the village is the idyllic Daelenbroeck Castle.
